Ostomy Development was founded by Eldar Peder Stokmo and Thomas H. Meyer with the aim of designing and developing a practical device for people living with a colostomy bag. With firsthand knowledge about the problems facing these pasients – either permanently or temporary after surgery – we have come up with a groundbreaking product that will improve the lives of people living with this condition.

Our first invention is a unique toilet that makes it super easy to empty the ostomy bag without bending down to the floor, or needing to twist into difficult positions. For many this is a huge problem, and this toilet aims to rectify that. The toilet is also height adjustable so it´s possible to empty the bag both standing up and sitting down if one uses a wheelchair.  A person living with ostomy need to empty the bag between 1-6 times a day, and this toilets makes it so much easier.
